Description: Chervil is a small, low-growing annual herbaceous plant that is a a member of the Apiaceae (Umbilliferae) family, but much more aromatic than parsley. It is a hardy plant having large spreading bright green leaves and tufts of sweet-smelling white flowers. Chervil is is an aromatic and fragrant plant and its flavor is subtle and slightly sweet, similar to anise or licorice. Chervil leaf is full of vitamin C, carotene and other minerals.
