About Extraction Method
Cintamani Tonics are generally created with 10:1 hot water extraction methods, which is a common term used to describe the specific concentration of an extract. This essentially means that 10 lbs of herb matter has gone through an extraction process, and the final product is 1 lb of completely water soluble herbal concentrate. The final product is therefore 10 times more potent than the simple powdered herb.
During the hot water extraction method, the herbs are cooked in large batches using a pressure cooker, and then the herb fiber is removed and discarded. At this point all of the medicinal constituents have gone into solution with the water, making a very rich and powerful tea. The water content from this potent tea is then evaporated, resulting in a pure powder of the plants concentrated medicinal components. Simple and effective, this method allows us to have instant teas that convey a complete and cohesive expression of the plants beneficial qualities.
Dual Extraction Method
All our Medicinal Mushrooms are now Dual Extracted using Hydroethanolic methods, wherein the water-soluble and alcohol-soluble constituents are combined. The solvents are evaporated, leaving only the fully soluble medicinal compounds. This super potent extract is standardized to contain no less than 30% Polysaccharides, ensuring quality, consistency, and efficacy.

To brew an instant tonic tea, mix 1/2 tsp into warm or hot water and enjoy! Blend into soups, foods, or smoothies. Store in a cool, dry place.
