Our travel care blend was crafted as the perfect companion for all your adventures whether they are business or pleasure. This on-the-go ally is formulated with herbs that support overall wellbeing through their affinity for the immune system, digestive system, or nervous system. It is recommended to begin taking the extract a couple days before travelling and continuing throughout your vacation.
Our travel care combination tincture can be added to water or juice or taken directly on the tongue and includes:
Ashwagandha: Ashwagandha root has been utilized in Ayurveda for thousands of years. With a history of use as a general wellness tonic, the root is often referred to as “Indian ginseng”. Ashwagandha is traditionally employed in Ayurvedic medicine as an adaptogen and gentle nervine to help cope with stress and supports overall cognitive health.*
Astragalus: Astragalus root was revered for millennia in Traditional Chinese Medicine where it was often employed during the winter season. Astragalus supports immune health to help you stay feeling your best and supports the body’s immune defenses to stay feeling healthy. Astragalus is used in Traditional Chinese Medicine as an adaptogen to help increase energy and resistance to stress.*
Calendula: An attractive and bright flower, calendula has been employed as herbal support for hundreds of years. The flowers were often infused or extracted and used during the cooler months as a tonic in traditional Western herbalism. Bitter in nature and sunshiny in appearance, calendula also works on the digestive system and provides a personality pick-me-up.
Oregon Grape: Native to the Pacific Northwest, Oregon grape root is a botanical to-go for many herbally minded folk in the region. Its bright yellow roots contain berberine, a bitter compound found in the plant making it a fine substitute for goldenseal. Oregon grape has an affinity for the liver and digestive system and provides overall wellness support.
Skullcap: Long used in traditional Western herbalism, skullcap is a beloved herb which is often employed for nervine support. Slightly bitter to taste, skullcap herb also has actions on the digestive system.
Holy Basil: Holy basil has a long history of use in Ayurveda and is considered a sacred herb throughout India where it is often grown near temples and in private gardens. Ginger: A zesty and warming spice, ginger root has become a staple in culinary dishes and beverages. For millennia, ginger root has been utilized in traditional herbal practices from around the globe including in Traditional Chinese Medicine where it is believed to affect lung, spleen, heart, and stomach meridians.
