Assam - Organic Black Tea
Available in 1oz
This orthodox black tea hails from the Chota Tingrai Estate, Tinsukia Dist., Assam State, in partnership with Mana Organics. Properly brewed Assam production is famed for having exceptionally malty, smooth characteristics, while exhibiting little astringency.
This tea is a fantastic example of an Assamese tea. As an ideal breakfast tea, it can be enjoyed with or without milk and sweetener. Though the leaves are a broken grade (GFBOP - Golden Flowery Broken Orange Pekoe), its flavor is rich and full without bitterness. Additionally, our wonderful Assam is Certified Organic.

Simply add to your infuser one heaping teaspoon of leaf per 8 oz. of water and place it in your pot, then add the appropriate amount of 200° F water and let it steep for 3 to 5 minutes. Remove the infuser and enjoy. Also delicious with a touch of milk and sugar.
BREWING ICED TEA
Our opinion is that a cooled concentrate works best, as regular-strength brew tends to become watery as the ice melts. So, use the above leaf quantities, but half the water, allow it to cool, then pour it over ice and enjoy. The brew will dilute down to proper strength as the ice melts.
