Calea Zacatechichi, also botanically known as Calea Ternifolia, is a renowned Oneirogen, meaning it is an herb which stimulates vivid dreaming and lucid dreaming abilities.
This herb has a rich history of use in Mexico. By the Chontal natives as well as the Aztec in more ancient times.
Calea has a profound psychoactive effect when used while awake, allowing one to tune into spirit and increase meditation. The natives also use it before bed, either smoking it or drinking it as a tea (or both), to allow visionary dreams.
