Description: Garlic is a perennial herb belonging to the Liliaceae family, which includes the onion and chive. It has long and thin flat leaves, small umbels of white-rose flowers, and an underground clustered bulb made up of several cloves enclosed in a smooth white thin papery tunic.

Culinary Uses: Garlic Powder can be substituted for fresh garlic and can add flavor and texture to your dishes, add Minced Garlic directly to your ingredients, or rehydrate it first by soaking in cool water for 30 minutes. Use 3 /4 teaspoon Minced Garlic in place of a fresh garlic clove.
Medicinal Uses: Garlic is considered to provide nourishment for the circulatory, immune and urinary systems. It is considered a natural antibiotic and fungicide, and to aid the body's natural ability to resist disease. It is used to reduce blood pressure in hypertensive conditions, as a supportive during colds and infections, to aid in arthritis, and for weak digestion.
