Description: Yellow Mustard Powder, known as White Mustard, is the ground seed of the Sinapis Alba Mustard Plant. It is an annual, herbaceous plant, belonging to the Cruciferae (Brassicaceae) family. It is an erect plant, with a thin root producing a grooved and branched stem with pinnatifid leaves and large, yellow flowers. The fruit is a spreading, roundish pod with a large curled beak, divided into two chambers. Each chamber contains two to three yellow seeds. Yellow Mustard has a milder flavor than the Brown Mustard.
