Description: Mate´ consists of the leaves of Ilex Paraguensis tree, belonging to the Aquifoliaceae family. It is an evergreen with pale bark and an oblong-oval crown. alternate dark green leaves, and white flowers in clusters. Roasted Yerba Mate’ is a smooth, full-bodied herbal tea that generally contains about half as much caffeine as coffee.
